The Gathering: She Heals

A Revolutionary Space for Professional Black Women's Well-being

The world is heavy, and Black women often bear its weight. We are asked to be strong, push forward, lead, and hold it all together. But who holds us? Who gives us the space to rest, heal, and be?

The Gathering: She Heals was born from these questions. It is a sacred space for Black women to reclaim rest, joy, and our authentic voices. In this space, we reject the exhausting narrative of “resilience” and embrace the power of radical self-care. We draw from the wisdom of our ancestors, the strength of our sisters, and the quiet power within ourselves.

In the corporate landscape, Black women often navigate complex intersections of identity and leadership; a fundamental question emerges: When does our strength become our sacrifice? Who holds space for our rest, truth, and healing as we excel?

“We heal together.” - Alice Walker

The Silent Cost of Leadership

Recent studies show that 67% of Black women in leadership positions report experiencing burnout, yet we're often the last to prioritize our well-being. We've mastered the art of showing up powerfully in professional spaces, but at what cost to our inner selves?

Introducing The Gathering: She Heals

The Gathering goes beyond simple professional development; it evolves into a transformative framework for fostering sustainable leadership. Drawing inspiration from Audre Lorde's powerful quote—"Caring for myself is not self-indulgence; it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare"—we are creating a unique executive wellness experience.

“Personally changing the frequency, I am listening on—to one where I can actually ‘hear.’”

"After 15 years of practicing law, I thought being perpetually exhausted was just part of success. The Gathering showed me another way. The skills I learned helped me set boundaries I never thought possible. For the first time, I feel like I'm thriving, not just surviving." -Tamara B., Senior Legal Counsel

Women In My Sista Circle Are Saying…

“Sending you love and lightness. I am on a social media break and news break. The world is too loud right now.”

“Hey, my Sistas,

Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and a bit downhearted. I just needed to dip my toe in my rejuvenating well, which is ya’ll… and just breatheeeeeeee.”

“Good morning. I am being more intentional about self-care, decreasing reliance on the internet, eating more organic foods, and saving more money. I don’t trust this system - clearly, it was not designed for our benefit.”
